Sales numbers will speak to Breitling far more than anything they read here.

I know. I didn't really mean I think Breitling is making design choices simply to spite us. It just seems like it sometimes. The Buck Rogers font is an example. The TOC is another. The TOC is a great watch, but many of us have been clamoring for Breitling to put it on a proper bracelet. So what do they do? They finally offer it on a Pro 3. Really? An in-house Breitling - one that shows a promising direction for the company - and they can't even bother to put it on a higher-end bracelet? I mean, the damn M2000 comes on a Pro 3, for crying out loud. The Pro bracelets are fine for the SO and Avenger lines, but they are not as nice as Pilot, Navi or Speed bracelets, which is what the TOC deserves. Once again, Breitling manages to fumble the ball two yards from the end zone. And it sure feels like they're flipping us the bird when they do it (even though I know they're probably not).

I wasn't answering your statement directly - I was sure you weren't being literal. I was commenting more generally that while Breitling may monitor this site, they probably don't take it as seriously as we do. :D If the new models sell, they probably won't much care what we have to say, much to their detriment of course. We're all very willing to give them lots of free design advice. If I thought they'd let me in, I'd drive to Grenchen next week and lay it all out for them. 8)

You made a very good point. Breitling is first and foremost a business. 8) At the end of the day, it's all about the numbers.

There's more than one way to make a buck. TAG Heuer sells a lot of watches. So does Rolex. At the end of the day, I know which brand I prefer.
