Hi.

I'm selling my A73350. I purchased this mid 2005 from Ernest Jones. I have all the papers, the box, spare links etc.
I'm just sending it off this week to have a maintenance service as the battery needs replacing.
It has the silver strap and black face.

I'm unsure of how much these go for so looking for some advice & offers.
I'm in the UK.

Also should i approach any watch sellers? I'm not desperate for cash so wont sell it on the cheap but will do a good deal!

Please message me if you are interested.

Thanks.

You could see what Watchfinder offer you to establish a base price.

I've moved this into the Breitling Discussion forum as the Sales forum is for sales themselves.

As advised Watchfinder is one option, but the prices are often higher than most private sellers would offer at. A better option is to check out Chrono24.com and completed sales on eBay. Completed sales are great as they show what people are actually prepared to pay for something and not just speculative seller's prices.

Once you have established a price, post up a for sale ad in the Sales forum here, being sure to read and comply with the rules first. And post pictures as well in your ad rather than suggesting people email you, as people don't like to work for pictures and info.

Yes, though my suggestion was to see what Watchfinder would pay for the watch [hence that valuation link], rather than sell it at - a possibly easier option, and it would give a sense of a base price.

Ah ha, gotchya. I didn't click on the link, so assumed it was just to the site. Apologies.

Ok after looking on completed sales on ebay one sold a few weeks back for £1100.00.
I'd happliy take £900 to save the ebay fees etc if anyone is interested.
Once it comes back from Breitling (battery replacement / maintenance) i'll upload some photos.

Thanks.

If you wish to sell it then please start a thread in the sales section ensuring that your listing complies with the rules there.

IMO, pics sell the item. Don't use your camera phone, spend some time making sure that the lighting is good (outside works well) and that you have a decent camera. Make sure that the watch is in focus. Take pictures of everything, including flaws. Imbed the pictures in the thread, don't make people click on links or email you.

Read the forum, and be careful as there are scammers out there. I've bought and sold several watches through this forum and have not had any problems; however other folks have had issues.

Thanks for the advice. I'm a keen photographer so will take the photos using my SLR and studio lights. :)

Thanks again.
