Right on! If you feel like a million bucks when you put it on then it's the right watch for you...that's what makes all of them great!

I saw something similar on a guy sitting near me on a flight a few weeks ago. ...short sleeves and all. My first reaction was, "I could never wear that." Exactly! He would have thought the same about what I had on, which I felt equally good about. I'm guessing he wouldn't have noticed mine from across the aisle like I did his though.

Diamonds are only a girls best friend IMO. :poke: Sorry but diamonds on gents watches just aren't my thing.

I generally agree, especially on something like a SA, where diamonds take it into cliché territory, imo. That said, I do think it is possible for diamonds to be done tastefully. Case in point, the rhodium-dial DJII with diamonds for hour markers is pretty darn nice. I'm not sure I would get it over a Sub-C or a Yachmaster, but I do like it.

I do agree (although diamonds still aren't for me), and a case in point would be Ron's Chronomat that he often posts pictures of. That's about the classiest diamond Breitling I've seen IMO.

True but that why I went with the SA because of its versatility. I have had day dates DJII and the 48 MM is just perfect on my 6'7 330lb frame. I'm new school and want custom! Love leather bands and custom bezel therefore the SA was calling me. But that's why they make 1000 of watches for everyone's personality and way of life. I can go from the office to after hours and my SA is ready for whatever

I agree - Breitling's own diamond bezel is very well done, and the Evo with the diamond bezel is the best diamond-accented Breitling I've seen. That said, I think the only way I would feel comfortable wearing diamonds on a watch is if they are used as hour markers. Personally, I think that DJII is the nicest diamond-accented men's watch of any brand I have seen.

I would imagine even the DSSD might look a bit small on you, to say nothing of their more "reasonably" sized models. I can see why you like the SA. And, even though I'm not so big on the diamonds, I have to say that is one of the nicer aftermarket diamond jobs I've seen - far better than most.

Looks good.
If its diamonds on an SA it has to be twin rows, the single row ones just look tacky imo.
Is the bezel factory or aftermarket?

I did consider getting a bezel off eBay for my SA but couldn't find a factory one for sale. In the end, polishing the bezel was bling enough for me.

Yeah I tried the DSSD but it was only 44 MM but didn't sit as good as the SA and I just didn't care for how high it sat on my wrist

Been wearing a bling SA for 5 years, white dial of course as that matches the diamond bezel best. All of them look great though,it is a watch that goes better with diamonds than without.

They are not for little dorks for sure, great looking watches. Enjoy it.

I like it, and I have a ring that looks to be about the same size as yours, maybe a little smaller. Mine is yellow gold with diamonds and sapphires.
