Hi boyz, just a quick question. Where is the best place to purchase either an Ocean Racer strap or Diver Pro strap for my new Skyland. Just feel like it would be good to have a second choice for a change (not that I'm bored already). :D

Online dealers tend to have the same price as AD and there are a lot of fakes on the Bay (fakes of the Ocean Racer are already appearing) so you are probably better off at an AD. I know that's a little more complex for you......

I don't think purchasing a strap from an AD in Aberedeen or Glasgow should be too much of a problem. Spending a £100 on a strap is not as big a problem as spending £2500 on a watch so the decision making shouldn't be to difficult.

I just sold my black ocean racer about a week ago. I still have the diver pro and the steel bracelet. The diver pro is great, but the ocean racer is amazing. I only sold it because it came with the watch in addition to the steel, and I just wanted to offset some of the cost. Part of me regrets selling it though. Anyways, the ocean racers are pretty hard to come by new, and even more so used. My AD had the diver pro for $75 before the last price increase, so I dont know if they are the same price or if theyve gone up a bit.

As already said here, there's not much money/room to add as a mark-up on straps and bracelets so the AD's price is more or less the same as online dealers. And by going to the AD (or actually calling them, you know what you want and you can save the trip if it's far) you eliminate the risk of a fake strap.
