I want to buy a new Avenger and would be grateful of any opinions regarding which style to get. I know that I want a volcano black dial but do I get batons or numerals? The baton option also has the white subdial option whereas the numeral option subdials are black, and that is also making the decison difficult. Many thanks in advance.

I would say go with black numeral dial.
It is probably the most poular dial on Avenger. (IMHO).

Concur. Although both are very nice, I prefer the military style arabics. Just a very cool look. Best of luck in your decision.

I like batons. looks a bit classier when it needs to be. but still sporty enough. Numerals to me (on that watch) only scream sporty... Contrasting subs look great. I've got a black/black super avenger with batons. That's my preference..

You should pickup Mr. Cheatle's SA on the forum... you won't be disappointed... (exact model I have).

Ultimately, it's your decision and you should get what YOU really want My opinion. Batons, black/white subs..

Funny you ask this question because I just saw an Avenger in the flesh a few days ago too at Tourneau. Personally I liked the batons... Couldn't quite do the SA as it was way too big for me but the Avenger hit the sweet spot...

I'll be the nah sayer. IMHO the Skyland was a better looking watch with the stencil logo and painted numbers. But,... I still think the new Avenger is a good looking watch. I used to like the numbers better, but the sticks look better now versus the shiney numbers.

I have decided on the watch dial and am going to get the volcano black with arabic numbers. I saw both watches in the flesh and in the end was swayed by the look of that version, as compared to the batons. The arabic version just popped out at me. I now need to negotiate a decent discount off this watch. I'm in the UK. What do you think I could get? Any thoughts?

You’ve made a wise decision. I believe the black dial with Arabic numeral is the best looking Avenger. (and I have evidence to prove it)!
The retail price on this watch goes for $5490.00 + Tax.
So if you get it with 25% discount ($4392.00 + Tax), it would be a good deal. (assuming you are getting one with bracelet).

I was able to find the Super Avenger from an authorized dealer in the EU for a very decent cost. Delivered and done. Decided to go for another watch though. The Avenger would probably be the same price since their RRP are the same.
