I have one of the above watches in my small collection, and though I love it to bits, I have too many watches of a similar style/type and some just don't get any wrist time, so am toying with the idea of letting this one go.
It's something a bit different from the norm, so I was wondering at what sort of valuation you guys would put it at, it is a full set, boxes/manual/cards, and it's in fantastic condition.
Thanx.

The best way to determin value is check ended auctions on the 'bay site through advanced search. That, and google search for any of your exact watch on the market currently, will give you a good idea. But the only real factor is that it's only worth what the market will bring; or in other words, whatever someone is willing to pay.

Current retail new is 3500-3800. So depending on condition, just go down 20-30% from there.

Basically, made in 2007 the watch was designed for the regatta, in honour of Emirates Team NZ, named after the boat that won the Americas cup in 1995, developed in collaboration with the omega ambassador Dean Baker, skipper of Team NZ.
The part of the watch you are asking about is what is known as, "start of the regatta" function, this indicates the ten minutes preceding the start signal by means of a special five dot indicator, they gradually change colour, first blue then red as each successive five minute period elapses.

Pretty cool feature, I appreciate the explanation.

I can't comment on valuation. I've just always liked that watch. Personally, if it were mine, I doubt I would let it go...even though I get horribly seasick and have about as much use for a regatta complication as Liberace had for female strippers.

A quick one taken with the iPhone, hopefully clear enough for you to see the detail.
