You're lucky you got a watch you like: my wife wouldn't risk going out and picking a watch for me. I recently got lucky as I'd been looking at a certain Cartier for some time, and was about to pull the trigger, when she noticed me looking at the same watch in the stores and online so she said she'd buy it for me for my birthday... so I added a Hublot to the same purchase since I then had the Cartier money burning a hole in my pocket!

For my 40th, I got divorce papers in the mail while I was on my first tour of duty in Iraq in 2003. It was actually a pretty good birthday. :D

Congrats on your 40th, and a great wife (and watch) worth keeping. :D
