EDIT: ah... from mid 2000s... gotcha

Bulgari produced a piece a couple of years back as a tribute after they acquired the Gerald Genta brand. They described it as an updating (a little odd on a design that was only 5 years or so old), but for me it seems a little 'flat' compared to Genta's:

I was going to buy that watch last year. It's a beautiful time piece. The size stopped me. From what I remember it's a big watch.

Congrats. Post some wrist shots.

46.5mm and 20mm tall as well. Obviously the lugs also give it a feeling of extra length.

Many Congratulations Roff.

I can't wait to see your own pictures and hear your own learned opinion on this fascinating timepiece.

I'm guessing the watch will be second hand so it will be interesting to see the patina it has gained.

You'd have been better off with my Chronofighter GMT though

Watch was waiting for me when I got home this evening. Review and pictures will have to wait until the weekend, but this is one darn fine watch!

Damn Sergio!

Couple days ago I was Googling "brass and titanium watch." Stoooopid - bronze is what I was thinking, yet my fingers still typed brass. Here's a poke to myself - :poke:

But it doesn't change the fact that Sergio is an absolute freak at this stuff.

I know, right? Sergio, I'd bet you would kill on Jeopardy too... :)

Just a bit off topic... finally had a day off today in like three months from work and my friend wanted to see one in the flesh... went to an AD and might I say I was quite impressed with the Graham... those chrono pushers are pretty sweet... feels solid...

Well, mine is still for sale. Roff showed an interest a while back but it didn't work out. Hence my reply above.

We've just had the Graham rep in and these are now £7800!
