All -

I currently have a croc tang strap with "120" written on the longer piece and "80" on the shorter. I'm looking into a deployant strap with "110" on the longer piece and "90" on the shorter.

Since these both total 200 I'm guessing that the lengths are different to better accomodate each locking mechanism - and that both will fit the same size wrist......

A stupud question to some I'm sure but better to ask than to blow a few hundred bucks.

Thanks,

You are correct.

The hole piece on a tang has a longer tail to accommodate different lengths, the deployant has more overlapand requires a longer short end.

I've got 130/80 on buckle, and 110/90 on deployant, and they fit my 7.6" wrist fine. Even 120/80 on buckle would work fine for me.

I haven't heard of longer clasps; I thought there was just one size.
