Page 45 of Richter has a 1952 Datora calendar with those h/m hands.

so to me it looks like either Dauphine was a choice or hands have been replaced during a service

No problem. Leaning toward being a choice because there is another '52 Datora on page 99 and 106 with stick hands. It also has the same number markers as yours. Seems there tended to be many options each year for each watch; dials, hands, case metal, etc.. The box that '52 is in is just as cool!
