Looking to possible purchase my first rolex.... But which one? I think the two tone on the GMT is beautiful and think the gold could be a nice addition to the family... But the dssd is nice too

What do you think?

I can't get into the TT so I'm voting DSSD...or deepsea submariner as our friend calls it.

I had the TT Ceramic GMT and here is the problem I had with it - the color of the PVDed gold bezel numbers were awkward -too yellow compared to the rich tone of Rolex gold. And since there are so many numbers on the bezel of the GMT, it tends to dominate it. If it bugs you in the slightest when looking at it in the store, my expereince is it will bug you much more as you own it over time. To me, it's a miss by Rolex.

I just figured that I have my large SA and a good addition would be ideal... I would also be interest in the two tone sub if not the GMT.

I see a visit to George in the near future

I loved my Deepsea ,and regret selling it , although I do love my Gmt IIc just as much. I am not a fan of the two tone Gmt.

tough call just wish we had a poll to help the voting process :poke:

if my memory serves correct you have a chronomat evo and SA? if youre totally sold on the TT gmt2 c then its a no brainer. it will be more dressy than the dssd.

Rolex Deepsea especially since you have a super avenger the 41mm size on a GMT will make you feel like you are wearing a ladies watch.

That's kinda what I am going for... Something about that two tone really sets it off for me.

two tone is really nice. it has more of that older person look to it. but IMO i think its a winner. you could probably get TT for around 10k

edit - im almost willing to bet that once you buy your first rolex your breitlings will get little to no wrist time

I think I am pretty much sold on the two tone as that would be a nice touch to my small collection thus far.

The only watch I see having less wrist time will be the CE as I would use both the CE/Rolex as my work watch and the SA as my weekend/fun watch.

The question is Black or Blue... Poll may follow as I think I am due for one
