I'm looking to purchase a used Seawolf from a private seller and was wondering what I should do to ensure I'm not getting hosed. I've never purchased a used watch before. How can I verify it's real? It has the box and papers, but I know all of that can be faked. Also, is there any specific questions I should ask about the watch in general? Any recommendations? Thanks

if warranty leaflet, COSC certificate and serial number on the watch match, the risk is quite minimal.
to be totally safe, post some pics here to verify the watch.

:yeahthat Also, check the seller out. Is he on "good guys"? How many posts, and references? "Buy the seller" is always a good principle. I have bought many pre-owned watches and only once had an issue. Best of luck.

As Fred says, just stick some good quality pictures up in the Replica forum and we'll tell you pretty quickly if it's OK or not. (Definitely worth doing as the Seawolf is another very well faked watch BTW).
