Here's my beater; Citizen Cal. 8651 Ref. AP-1024

Only have one Breitling. Worn maybe once a week, if that.

My beater is either my Steinhart Triton 100 ATM or my G-Shock Mudman although I don't know why I call them beaters as I can't bring myself to "beat" them. I'll usually wear my SA or AS (or any of my higher end watches) about a week out of the month and usually not even that much.

My daily is a Breitling for Bentley motors, and I don't currently have a beater (I wear the Breitling almost daily), but I'm thinking about picking up a luminox navy or black out for when I go shooting.

My beater and my everyday watch is my Breitling Colt. It was my first Breitling but won't be my last!

Don't really have a beater but have been thinking about picking up a TAG F1 Grande Date to take the "beater" position in my lineup. Right now, I alternate between a Galactic 41 on a Pro II, a SuperOcean Steelfish X-Plus on a Pro II or, my latest proud purchase, a BNIB (well, it was a week ago) B-1 SQ on a Fighter.

So I wanted to see what ever one else used for travel or a beater. I was thinking a Luminox Navy SEAL COLORMARK 3050. I'm looking a decent 40 - 44mm case in Quartz since it won't be used a heck of a lot. Any thoughts on the Luminox? What are you guys using for the travel/beater watch and whats your daily Breitling? Curious to see how peoples travel/beater watch matches up with their favorite daily Breitling.

I really liked my Luminox F117. The trit lights, black case, and (especially) the 10 yr Li battery.

Note, "liked". Moved about six months ago. The Luminox stopped days before I moved. MIA in a box...somewhere.

It's a great watch. I would imagine your SEAL would be just as well liked by me. But, I've been wrong twice before. Ask my two ex-wives.

As for airports, I get wanded anyway. In the last year and a half, a ICD/pacemaker and a titanium left leg have been added to my inventory.

Prior though, I'd throw my watch into my briefcase or wear it. Depending on the watch, there were times my briefcase cost more than my laptop, watch, and phone combined. Nice old Hartmann. So I always kept an eye on it.

I usually travel with two watches though. Usually my Datejust, Baume Mercier, or other leather strap watch for client facing meetings.

"Beater " is a relative term though. My beater is my Reverend Moon (Citizen AP-1024), Invicta Reserve Pro Diver, or my Breitling Colt GMT. If I had to go a Sophie's Choice and give one up; my Invicta would be thrown under the bus w/o my shedding a tear.
I have an Atomic G-Shock MTG...but I use it to synch my mechs.

Am thinking of a G-Shock GW2000. Analog.

Your choice of your Luminox works for me though.

Wishing you all the best...post a pic of what you decide on :)

Hope I find my F-117 :(

Goose I see similar tastes in your collection and mine... Love the Speedmaster and of course the GMT... I had a speedie Mark II before and some business expenses came up so sold it last year and I've been loosely looking for a replacement like yours. I also got a beater Citizen Skyhawk AT... Great watch for the money... Nice group you have there.

Very nice. And it is a beater if you ask me.
