I now have a functioning toilet!! It's a wall hung one so putting some small led's underneath, and under the wall hung sink unit too. Will have these on a passive and a 5min timer. Saves putting the lights on and blinding yourself when you gotta go during the night! :-D

First of hopefully a few updates this week...
Most importantly I've nearly pinned down a builder for the extension, was much harder than I anticipated it would be!
Now, today we had the plasterers making a start on the boarding that needs doing, they will be here for a full week to plaster all walls / ceilings upstairs, hall, stairs, landing and the front lounge, basically everthing that won't be affected by the extension works.
We've also had the heating engineers in to rip out the old C/H and install a new combi, pipe work and rads upstairs ( downstairs will be underfloor)
Finally the bathroom will have some more tiling done this week, flooring had been laid today. Here's a few pics for you all!

Jim,

Now this is looking quite nice. I like the way you have kept as much of the old structure intact as possible. It is beautiful and would be a shame to destroy. So much of today's building is done so cheaply. I'd like to see the big bad wolf try to huff and puff and blow that house down. No way, Jose.

Yeah I wanted to keep as much as I can, whilst filling it with modern conveniences. I love the idea of having these nice traditional rooms that are stacked full of hard wired Internet, multi room audio and video etc!

if you have a watch collection might be an idea to sink a nice safe into one of the walls and bolt it in, i have done that in a wardrobe open wardrobe slide back panel and there's the safe

Thanks Justin! I'm enjoying updating it :-)
Plasterers should be finished by weekend, so more pics are forthcoming.
All things being well the new roof should be started within two weeks and the extension straight after that :-)

Progress is continuing....
I've had the plasterers in for the past week, nearly finished all the rooms that will not be affected by the extension. Scaffold is going up tmrw and the roof will then be replaced, as soon as that's done work will begin in the extension, exciting!
