Oddly enough, a lot of these responses were from Omega Boutiques.

Breitling and Invicta the same! Every time you buy an Invicta, a kitten dies. And if you don't like cats, a puppy dies.

LOL.. I was just about to write that the Omega boutique representative wasn't too knowledgeable. He never heard of any "older" omegas such the Great white or Electric Blue and didn't know too many details of the models he had in stock. I will say that they had a huge inventory so it would be difficult to know every detail about ever model and he was very patient as I tried on about 10 different watches.

i dont think they hire the best and the brightest there, i know 2 people at an omeag boutique with ZERO product knowledge, and they give the squat for training.

I know it was bad...Im always blown away the lack of product knowledge at these stores. I mean you are selling something that cost a lot of money... Its ridiculous. I own a prinitng company and imagine if a customer walked in to my business and I had no idea what a business card is?

Hi, I'd like to get some business cards printed.
Ahh... a business card? Let me see if I have those...
You guys don't print business cards?
I'm not sure.
Can I talk to the manager?
I'm the owner...

That would be great.

What's the point in a boutique, if they don't offer training? Even McDonalds has training to teach their staff to make you a $.99 hamburger, why wouldn't a store selling high end luxury goods worth several thousand dollars at minimum? Is the point sheer selection?

I must admit I have a bit of a crush on mine, so how would I be objective. But then she seems to know her stuff and wears a Pam, so what's not to like.

Zurich seems to be pretty high up there in terms of good ADs though. We've got at least four great ones and a couple more I can't speak for. Plus Boutiques from Patek to Chopard, pretty much all on the same street. The competition would kill poor customer service immediately.

I do neither... what does that make me? But well, I have watches, most of which are in a bank and I live next to a chocolate factory... you may have a quite valid point then...
