What do people mean when they say "full ling" or "whole ling"?

Minimal diameter of 46mm, space between lugs 24mm and has to be on the bracelet. But that's only for fun, nothing official. :)

Ahh thanks.. so a Hercules would be a full ling?

I'm afraid not, it's only 44.50mm.
Go to official Breitling site, there you can find watche's diameters.

A hercules would be a 3/4 Ling at best :)
