As much as I like the Chronomat 44 GMT and as much as I don't think I could get used to a 24 hour dial, this to me is clearly the most stunning watch of the bunch so far. I just keep going back to the pic the OP posted. Just beautiful.

There is a live shot of this watch in another thread, it's not as nice as the stock photo but it's miles ahead of everything else that Breitling has screwed up.

If Breitling is getting advice from pilots, & other sources for
some of their wrist instruments, then they should not be
turning out to be getting negative criticism, creating the
need to discontinue certain models, & "tinkering" with other
well established examples. Sometimes, too much overhauling
ultimately undermines it.

1. every person with a positive opinion on this thread has also expressed many negative opinions on many other Breitling new offerings the last three years. This isn't a brand love-fest site like some others out there. There is more Breitling criticism here than on the rest of the internet...combined.

2. Could you restate your position in English please? :poke:

Looks awesome, just when I think I want to get a cosmonaute! perfect timing.

Does anyone know when it will be available?

New models usually hit stores from about May onwards, but some don't make it until late summer.

It'll be officially presented in late May, count in another three month after that for it to hit the streets.

Please, please let it have a sapphire exhibition caseback.
I think I recall reading somewhere that there is a display back version of the new B02 caliber Cossie. I know for certain there is a Limited Edition version of 1962 pieces commemorating Carpenter's Mercury flight in May, 1962. Personally, I would love to have a display back version with this dial....
Best,
Ron

My Caliber B22 (ETA 2892-A2 with Flyback chrono module by Dubois Depraz) Cossie...

PS. You'll note the "10" isn't cut off by the date aperture on this beauty...

I stand corrected. It was the Chronomat GMT Caober B05 Limited Edition with display back, not the new Cossie. My bad...
Best,
Ron

Like I said in the other thread (and has been echoed by a couple here), I do like it as it sticks with "tradition" and doesn't ruin a classic model, but I do have a problem with the date window. I certainly don't think date windows are superfluous or anything like that, but the Cosie is a very busy dial and the way the window cuts into the 10 doesn't work for me. Plus I'm not a huge fan of the red chrono hand while the back end is left silver. Yes I know it's the same on the Navi 01, but visually it works better for me on the Navi.

That said I think it's a nice looking watch and a million times better than some of the other recent offerings......... but these days a watch has to perfect in my eyes to even get a consideration for a purchase. And this isn't quite there for me.

All in All, This piece looks like a step in the right direction for Breitling.
Finally..
Any more details on the movement ??
