Over the last years we've seen a couple of remakes of 1950ies and 1960ies models which were , in my eyes, not always successfully executed.

SuperOcean heritage series
Transocean series

Only the Navitimer / Cosmonaute line are still somewhat resembling the 1st editions and have seen a constant evolution to what we see these days and now have a very nice in house movement incl the pricetag that goes with it .

So , whats next ? More 'Dressy' like the TO's ? or Pilot / Sports watches ?

AVI / Co-Pilot ?
Datora's ? , not the Navitimer Datora of a few years ago but more resembling the 40ies and 50ies ?
Top-Time ?
Chronomat 40ies & 50ies ?

and which re-design would you like to see/wear ?

I'm pretty sure it's OK to completely spell out the word "screw."

Please, leave the AVIs alone.
I shudder when I imagine how this would look with a red rubber or Buck Rogers bezel.

the current TransOcean Chronographs are actually "remakes" or hommages to the TopTime 810, one of the rather nice revivals,

this is how the original automatic TO Chrono looked:

The 40s/50s/60s Chronomat 769 and 808 have been revived long ago with the Montbrillant line, even the latest releases strongly resemble the classical designs of 1942.

Another example as the remake not as nice as the original.

Didn't realize this was a car thread? Does Breitling make cars :huh

My vote goes to the Navitimer World. When they eventually release it with an inhouse movement, they will find a way to EFFFF it up.

The 1970's watches reflect the concept that "Chunky is Funky".
