Have any UK members ever bought off this company?

I know someone who has. On the plus side they don't remove any serial numbers from watches (a very VERY good thing!) and the watches are all 100% genuine. The service is professional too.

On the downside they are not overly cheap compared to Stateside sites, and their alleged next day delivery is dependant on you being able to answer a whole bunch of "security questions" on the day. If you can't (or miss the call!) your order can be delayed while you have to email them various bits of proof of identity. Bit of a pain but not the end of the world. They also don't ship the original warranty card as they include their own 2 year warranty instead, but all other paperword is included.

Thanks for that driver.I have sent an e-mail to an AD stateside but I am still waiting for a reply. It was the issue about the serial numbers that I wanted to know about with AAtime.I know that authentic watches scrub the serial numbers off and was wondering whether aatime did it too. Thanks again.

No worries, you're welcome.

Just as an aside, Authenticwatches don't remove the serials from all their watches - but be careful as if it doesn't SPECIFICALLY state "Manufacturer's Serial Numbers intact" then you have to assume that they have been removed. Also if you are waiting on an email reply from Authenticwatches, you'll be waiting a looooooooong time. Communication is not their forte!

If you don't mind the extra cash, go for AATime, or for a better Stateside deal, have a look at Prestigetime.com or Interwatches.com.

Only prob with Jomashop is that they retain both the warranty paper AND the COSC Certificate as well. Not vital.... but pretty handy for getting a decent price if you come to sell. Just something else to consider.....

A good AD stateside will be able to offer you prices that you can find at authentic watches. Then you wont have to deal with the 3rd party warranty.

Thanks RJ.I'm waiting for a reply off an AD in the States.Hopefully I can get a better deal than I can get in the UK...even when import duties are taken into consideration.
