Does this mean your not first in line for the 'iced rainbow Rolex' ?

And just think, Basel hasn't officially started yet :wowzers . I'm actually interested in what some of the smaller independents have yet to offer.

I am also highly disappointed this year. I do however like the new Superocean straps Breitling came out with. Kinda Omega looking, but looking forward to seeing them in person. Might snag a couple for my Abyss and SF, we'll see.

It seems Breitling was a couple years ahead of the trend curve. Now THAT is disappointing.

A few years ago I commented that Breitling should make straps with some color in them, colored stitching or backing, and a certain someone, I wont mention any names (but he likes weird @$$ watches) said that will never happen. Well the day has come!

I don't know Sergio, I think this is one of the worst wastes of gold and one of the worst ideas Breitling has ever come up with. Just sayin'.

Oh My God that is terrible  What are they thinking? That watch just doesn't make any sort of sense whatsoever. It looks like an inbred child.

Could maybe live with the Speedmaster if it wasn't for the yellow and it was on a different strap..............and a slightly different dial and shape case............ I think Cee Lo would like them though.

I think you and I look at the world thru European eyes.....Western Style.
I think the watch industry and other industries are looking East.
China is their market in the future.....The Money Man is CHINA.
The watches are for CHINA....IMO
Of course...I could be wrong.
History over the years say "no"...But I could be.

Harry Winston seems to be bucking the trend with something that (I think) is pretty spectacular - Opus 12 - http://blog.perpetuelle.com/watches/har ... ial-video/

Of course it's nowhere near affordable.

that video is a must see. no, definitely not "affordable", but a real masterpiece of watchmaking, the mechanical complexity is quite breathtaking.

I love the look of their Histoire de Tourbillon 3...I'm guessing it's rather pricey though!
