A new LE BB with Buck Rogers bezel and a plain non-faceted bracelet????? Will this be the platform when they finally put the B01 with a Big Date complication in??

Lose the red, bung an in-house movement in it, and that ain't actually all that bad......... which isn't surprising anyone considering it's just a semi-buck bezel on an old BB case!

Close, but still no cigar this year so far....

bahhh, hate the red date square, hate the bezel and now whitout the faceted bracelet? lost the amazing LUME???? come on??? why is this still called the blackbird???

look at that pearl....

i want to cry :( glad i have 2 of the old ones

positive thing about this new model

now 44mm instead of 43.7mm

wonder how the back looks?

people at breitling became obcessed about...

The transformation is complete - BB ... meet .... new style Chronomat. The hour markers, font, and oversized pearl, case, and bracelet are all right off the B01 Chronomat. The bacelet is just the new style Chronomat bracelet brushed. The red date surround will go on subsequent models - and it needs to. The rest of the red accents wouldn'rt draw ire - it's the date surround that overwhelms the dial. I'm not convinced at all it is the old BB case - looks to me like the B01 Chronomat case.

So what we have here is a failure to communicate. What we have here is a clear sign the Blackbird's ONLY distinction down the road will be ... a big date.

Has anyone noticed the color scheme? It seems as if all the new models I have seen are black and red.

They reduced the size of the SOHC down to 44mm. I like that, the 46mm was just way too big.

i think that rose gold on black dial with black rubber will be kinda sharp looking

Agree, definitely looks like the B01 Chronomat case (44mm) along with it's hands, markers and sub-dial hands (lost a lot of lume with these). It's a Chronomat big date.

After reviewing the new line I can honestly say the pricing has driven me to(insert different brand name here) and better built watches that have a demonstrated Value that Breitling has lost , I feel the pricing is just stupid and the new watches are no screaming hell !

I'm very happy with the 5 Breitlings I own now and I may buy the SOHC 46 with the Green Bezel black face with mesh but unless they release something amazing my Breitling AD will miss my Business . Thank God he carries other brands . I guess they are no longer a go to brand for me.

I guess I will start collecting pre 2012 models ,I'm also guessing the price of older models will go up due to how desirable they are compaired to the new ugly over priced units . I said it don't hate me I have an opinion about everything .
