I sent a Breitling Navitimer 2300 for repair in December 2009. I was charged $599.00 and I was told by owner he would repair the LCD and watch overhaul. I was told as they use all Breitilng OEM parts. They also told they would fix my Bezel as it would not move.

I find out later he only a middle man and sends out the watch for repair. My watch came back after 9 weeks and very little was fixed. The LCD was never replace and I was never told this until after I got it back and I saw it myself. They also replaced the crown with non OEM part. Again I was never told this up front. After three attempts to contact them, I was told they can't get parts for this watch. Well I was able to get the correct parts (took only one day to get) myself and brought it to a local Breitling watch repair store in Miami and it cost me a total of $450.00 to repair.

I requested a credit and I was given it after asking.

Jeff Herman is a fraud. He is a scammer and a bad person. Do not do business with him - and I hope he gets what he deserves. I would not send my watch to him or any of his affiliates - including his brother in law at watchuwant.com. BE AWARE.

Yes, I sent a watch back in October to be repaired. I was informed that the repair would be done in a months time...Well, I gave my credit card information to pay for the shipping. I shipped the watch in before I knew it, the charge for the repair was immediately posted as well for over $600. Well, that was frustrating as I did not agree to that and was planning on either using a different card or would have put money in my account. So, I received NSF fees...Thanks Jeff! Now, a few months go by and I am just not hearing from Jeff. Then I get a call back....I was asked if the numbers on the inner bezel of my Breitling Chronomatic were faded when I sent it in?In fact they were not and I fortunately had photos done before I sent it in. Well, Jeff was happy to take care of it and did not know how it happened, but he wanted to use International Dial. I do not know about you, but i have used International Dial a bit in the past and they are typically slow, and the quality is not usually to my standard. I told Jeff this and his salesman self insist that it would be ok as he knew the right people and it would not take forever and it would be done right. Well another month passes by and he calls to tell me that he is not getting a response from international dial and was going to see about getting it back and send it to Kirk dial. All the time, I am just frustrated as hell as he just ruined my original 1969 inner bezel. Now, I could not reach Jeff by telephone or email to save my life and do not even know if I will ever get my watch back. I am about to place a chargeback on my credit card and take a trip to Boca Raton......So Jeff, if you happen to read this thread, feel free to respond as you don't answer my emails or telephone calls. I would warn anyone of sending there watches to him. He is nothing more than a salesman and when you have been into watches as many years as I have, the last thing you want to hear is a lot of B.S. abliut how nice your watch is and what a classic. It's a watch and I would like it fixed and to see it again...Can you do that? Stop with the B.S. and produce!!!!!

I posted in the other thread about WatchRepair.Net and I'll tell you what I found out when I finally received an email from Jeff, it appears that they are going out of business. Your watch was probably sent to someone else for repair and you will have to pay them to get your watch back(that's the way it was in my case anyway). I received an email letting me know where my watch was and how I could get a hold of them. I also did a charge back on my credit card, since like you, mine was charged the full amount for the repair(which Jeff didn't do) and I had to pay the other party to get my watch back. Mine was sent to the Breitling repair center in Fl., you might want to just check and see if it's there. They were very nice to me and were fully aware of the bad situation that everyone was in.

Did you get your watch from Jeff or from the Breitling repair center in Fl.? Just curious.
