For clarification purposes, i received my Panerai watch in working condition and looking good on Saturday. I am sure there are some circumstances surrounding this ordeal from Mr. Herman, I wish him and his family well. I have been told that Mr. Harman has nothign to do with Watchuwant.com.

Well, I have to chime in here to prevent anyone else from losing money or going through a real hassle. Apparently WatchRepair.net is going out of business, so do not send your watch to them. It appears that they were just a middle man and they would send your watch to an authorized repair center in Florida (where they are based). They charged more than the price that the repair center charged and they kept the difference. I sent my Chronomat to them in Januaray of this year and I contacted them last week to check on the status of my watch and didn't hear anything back from them. I sent another email this week and finally got an email back stating that they are going out of business and that my watch is at Swiss Watch Service in Bay Harbor Islands Fl. I contacted the repair center and had to pay them to get my watch back AFTER I was already charged by WatchRepair.Net. I filed a claim with my credit card company to get my money back, but this may take some time. Like others have said "send it to Breitling to be repaired"! One good thing is the repair center that overhauled my watch is an authorized repair center and is on Breitling's website.

Hi fellow sufferers-I checked back to see if the saga was still ongoing.
For the record, Mr. Herman phoned me in February, offering to correct any problems. I told him that the watch was at the repair facility. He said that he would retrieve it from them, examine it for the problems I cited and get back to me. Short story-never heard from him again. Now I know why. Lesson learned-unfortunately, too late.
