They mentioned they could get it on a leather strap, However it only comes in brown? Is this true? I would like a black strap to match the black face. Also the AD also mentioned it should be 700-1000$ US dollars cheaper... Does this add up? She was not 100% sure of much of anything though...So she said she would call me back within a couple days... What do you guys think of this? Makes sense or are they as lost as I? TIA --Robert

They mentioned they could get it on a leather strap, However it only comes in brown? Is this true? NO - the calf strap comes in black too. I would like a black strap to match the black face. Also the AD also mentioned it should be 700-1000$ US dollars cheaper... Does this add up? No - maybe $400ish less (on tang buckle, even less on the deployant clasp). She was not 100% sure of much of anything though...So she said she would call me back within a couple days... What do you guys think of this? Makes sense or are they as lost as I? You are fine. Your AD salesperson is lost.

Breitling's are very versatile with the head/strap combination, this is why I like the brand. I got FEAR to put Bentley rubber on a black SA, and he even asked if I wanted a Breitling or Bentley deployment clasp. Even the most junior person at an AD should know there are over a dozen different bracelets and straps that would fit a SA.

Of course not... you're at least 1/2 a rank higher! :P
