Hi everyone,
Thank you for your help. You're all right of course. My wrist is about 7.5 if I remember correctly. I wear a old style chronomat gt (2000) as my everyday watch and it is very comfortable size wise. The bb is only a little bigger.

I have a couple of big watch 50mm and they are very big and I only wear them occasionally.

I'm convinced, i'll go with the blackbird.

Cheers

Great choice. BB Brushed all the way. It also wears great on the OR. The thing that I don't like about my BB is the screw down chrono functions (not really a big deal) and the way the minute hand moves slightly when you start the chrono. Both insignificant things.

Really an apples an oranges thing, especially considering the size. I had both, liked both, but you haven't really said enough for me to suggest one over the other. My wrist is 7.5" and I found the BB wore just a little small for my taste, and the SA probably a little big as an everyday watch. Over all I would have to say I like the the BB better, and if my wrist was an inch smaller I never would have sold it.

:yeahthat What size is your wrist? As Time Bandit pointed out, that will be a factor. Having owned both, the BB has a better bracelet, more unique movement, and cool look. But I like the SA as well when I feel the need for a gorgeous chunk of steel. There is an obvious price difference as well. Best of luck in your decision. :)
