Hi
I haven't done it before, but I see a lot of posts asking for an opinion. So here I go.

Given the choice between a big date blackbird with black dial and subs, brush case and steel bracelet and a super avenger with a black dial, polished case and steel bracelet... What would you choose?

Thanks

As a previous owner of the SA and current owner of blackbird, i would go whit the obvious bird, the SA is a bit big for me and hevier, i prefer brushed watches over blingy polished surfaces, but that is just me.

I believe the blackbird is a bit more exquisit and refined than the SA whit the big date complication
That doesnt mean i dont like the SA but

Just my .2 cents

Id go for the big date blackbird, looks sweet, much better looking than the chronographs with a crooked date at 4. The super avenger is nice too, real tough looking, for me its just so BIG.

I like the Super Avenger more than the blackbird.

Blackbird! You can't beat the pilot bracelet.. SA is a bit too gaudy for me, and the blackbird is a good size watch too.

Really an apples an oranges thing, especially considering the size. I had both, liked both, but you haven't really said enough for me to suggest one over the other. My wrist is 7.5" and I found the BB wore just a little small for my taste, and the SA probably a little big as an everyday watch. Over all I would have to say I like the the BB better, and if my wrist was an inch smaller I never would have sold it.

:yeahthat What size is your wrist? As Time Bandit pointed out, that will be a factor. Having owned both, the BB has a better bracelet, more unique movement, and cool look. But I like the SA as well when I feel the need for a gorgeous chunk of steel. There is an obvious price difference as well. Best of luck in your decision. :)

As an owner of both... BB as it is more versatile

However I love my SA
