That Panerai is a beauty. That would be my choice.

So it's Tuesday... just got this in yesterday... and I am pretty happy with it, least to say. Definitely different from all of the other things I've worn and owned and moved on... won't go into detail because everyone knows about this one... one thing I am crazy about is the 3186 movement... this thing can go backwards, forwards and sideways... don't have to worry about anything!

Oh and the ceramic bezel is nice too... Currently running +2-3 seconds as of right now according to my Citizen Skyhawk AT. Just the way I like it. Thanks to everyone for their input and the wonderful discussions... and thanks to Charles on TZ for hooking it up big... I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy this one for awhile.

thanks! sometimes going with the grain has its advantages... i can see why a lot of the opinions on this thread were for the GMT... A few more observations... wears a bit bigger than 40... love the beefy feel on the wrist... feels so solid... crazy accurate too...

a Pepsi ceramic would be big trouble for me... might have to sell a body part or two... or just others in the watch box might have to start going...

Just curious though Mike, you ever miss your DSSD? of course a bit of different breeds with the GMT and that...

I do miss the Dssd, but it was just to chunky for my wrist, it sat off my wrist super high ,and was a magnet for bumps, now if I had a 7.25 to 7.50 wrist the DSSD would of been my keeper. I just couldn't pull it off , kind of like the Sa I had for 2 months. The 48mm looked super goofy on my 7' wrist
