Ok guys, I'm in need of some help. I have 4 Breitling and need to part with one of them or I may be kicked out of my own house! I have an addiction the women says!!! Anyways, I have...

1) Navitimer world (black dial, black crock strap)
2) Aerospace with co-pilot on bracelet (Titanium)
3) Super Ocean Heritage (46mm with mesh bracelet)
4) Avenger Skyland (stainless bracelet with black dial and arabic numbers)

One needs to go, if you could only have three which one would you get rid of?????

Thanks for the help.

# 2. The World and Skyland are classic Breitling looks. I'd say #3, but you my as well have a Superquartz for functionality. Definitely don't dump #1 or #4.

IMHO.

I see, you have one of those as well, I mean the mean woman who thinks you don't have the means to own four watches!!!
Mrs. Wessa said something similar, something along the lines that it is ridiculous to own FOUR Breitling watches.
I solved that problem, number FIVE is in the mail :D
I would part with the Aerospace, never really liked Titanium. Just my feeling.

I think you've got the perfect collection, mine is shockingly similar and I want to add a navi.
Put your foot down, man!

I'd have to say #2 if any but I suggest a different approach. A few years ago my wife gave me a hard time about one of my "colllections" (which was in it's early stages) and wanted me to downsize. My solution was to buy more until she became desensitized to it and accepted the situation as the new "norm". So don't sell one, grow your collection! :lingsrock:

Personally I'd ditch the Aerospace without a moments hesitation....... but that's because I'd never personally own one myself as I dislike quartz and I hate titanium watches!

However, I appreciate the fact that it's probably the most "different" watch in your collection so that alone may make you want to keep it. If that's the case then I agree with Shark and I'd probably ditch the SOH.

The Navi World is a modern classic IMO, so that should definitely stay, and the Avenger is a great rugged workhorse that has all the classic Breitling elements (rider tabs, etc) that we all know, love, and now miss from the newer models.

How about option 5??? to get rid of the wife?? :poke: :nana:

Completely joking!!! Mine is probably just as fantastic as yours and has no clue why I obsess over watches either...

You shouldn't have to justify your collection. Explain how much of a loss both monetarily and emotionally you're going to have to take by parting with any of your watches. It would only make you feel a little empty and you'd eventually replace it with something else to fill the void anyways..

Then make her a candlelit dinner and she'll (hopefully) forget all about it.. (or tell her she has to cut down her collection of shoes, or something she has)

Chris

#2 the aerospace for sure. The others give you a nice mix and unless you fly, I don't see the point in a quartz when all the others you have are so nice. Navi/Avenger can't be beat and the SOH with mesh is just a different piece all together. What does the aerospace give you? Good luck with your decision.
