thanks for that clarification, i just did a 40 crown turn wind & left the time as it was correct, i put the crown back inside but the second hand didn't move, i had to remove the crown out again then the secs hand started moving, guess thats the way, thought after winding the secs would start moving immediately..

Yes. The danger zone is not for winding but for changing the date.

It's probably just out of beat - needs a slight movement to start again.

You can order short straps from Breitling - 10mm shorter on each side.

don't want to discard the leather strap i have on my seawolf, its ok if i get a hole punched in it?

If your punching a hole, cutting the tail might not be far fetched :S...just sayin
