The color gives it an age like patina , After checking out her website I'm thinking a large grain matte cognac for my SA with a blue face . maybe more once I see the first strap ,they sure look great on line.

Damn Tom, that's a perfect fit. Looks really gorgeous from my point of view.

Second pics are MUCH nicer than the first ones. And I'm sure it is even better in gator! :lingsrock:

Sweet strap!! And I thought my BB BEB looked "exotic" on my black calf....

Can anyone help me find a post about how to do this special "olive oil" treatment??

Try the search function for olive + oil under author Sharkman. There is one somewhere. I didn't come up with this, another member explained it to me by PM and after a couple months of fretting, I gave it a shot. On my iPhone now so can't search.

I don't know sharky, I think I preferred the original color. However having said that it looks more than fine with the olive oil treatment. Awesome strap!

I think they both look good, but I'd opt for the original given a choice. As long as you like it that is cool. You are pretty brave taking both of those high dollar straps and making the leap. My gold calf has started to darken up a bit from about the lugs to an inch toward the deployment. Down by the underside of my wrist it is still nice a light. I wish there were a way to lighten up straps not just darken them. :|

Sharky nice job on the re-oil job, I liked the strap before, but now I really like how it looks.
