too bad he doesn't add the comments of this forum to all his watches he offers for sale ! nor did he add the latest info you received from Mr Zurbuchen

But at least he posted a link to the http://www.breitlingsource.com so when people do their research they will find the correct info on all the cr*p watches he tries to peddle

I have had the chance to some discussion with Mr. Wajs ... and also studied a little the evolution of the Navitimer.
First it is interesting to return to the production figures of the house of L. Breitling during the '70s , before the descent into hell until 1978 when only a few units were produced.
Imagine the agony of Willy Breitling probably already sick because he had to close 100 year old family business with dignity which was created by his grandfather - and to do so not since it was a failure but a voluntary liquidation. Let us remember that he will only survive three months in his company.
Plans were put in place for Sinn to get a license to manufacture the Navitimer ... but I believe that production have followed the Lemania 1873.
A master watchmaker at Breitling, Jean Zurbuchen, had designed the recently Valjoux 7750 into Navitimer in a housing he made, and sold in more than a few hundreds which is not a fake, but a precursor of future Navitimer of the Schneider era.

Thanks René!
I have posted a warning on Horlogerie Suisse relating how this guy proceeds and recommanding to avoid any business with him.

http://www.horlogerie-suisse.com/forum/ ... =1&t=18223

I am afraid that many Breitling newbees have been robbed by this guy. I have seen that all his pics are under copyright of i-am-spamming!.Maybe we should put a copyright on our posts?

Or we can ask Roff or the Breitlingsource founder to put a statement in the rules of the board saying something like

"no original information contained within this forum may be reproduced without explicit approval of the author" ?

It probably wont stand up in court but you can ask sites like Chrono24 to remove info taken from the board as its used without the authors permission

:uplaugh: yeah, thats Mr Maerz alright , welcome to his world and his delusions of grandeur

But send a note to Chrono24 (in english) letting them know you do not like it when people use your text without proper authorization and maybe they will remove it

On the other hand potential buyers wont see the breitlingsource link and loose out on the possibility to get informed about what Mt Maerz is about

I've said it before, but I feel genuinely sorry for him, it can't be any fun to go through life with such a bitter and twisted outlook. I fear that one day he will look back and regret the way that he has lived his life, and by then it will be too late.
