Driver, you know you have to get two more SA's... A white one and a black one, with baton markers so you can decide freely between colors and dials.

 Ha ha! But then when you factor in bracelets and straps I think I'll another 4 or 5!!

But you can exchange the straps/bracelets... Takes a wee bit longer to exchange the dials. :)

I actually saw the new SA with the batons on a blue face and it looked VERY clean and NICE!

I am thinking about adding it to the collection :D

This just shows that tastes differ... I will finally get my SA tomorrow, and guess what - I actually finally decided to go with the new dial in blue.

Pics will follow in the coming days!

I saw some pics of the newer model from someone who bought one on anotehr forum, and I think they should have kept the arabics. The new one still looks nice, but not as nice as the original.

Looking at the new SA along side the older SA I have to say that I'm 99.99% sure I'll be ordering the new version with the batons.

I particularly like the larger wings and the way the red accents pop against the black.

I'm most likely going to choose between the two:

@In2Deep-I saw a new style SA, black dial/SO rubber strap, at Royal Maui Jewelers in Fashion Valley a few weeks ago. I have to say that it does look stunning. Unfortunately I did not see it there last night :( .

Hah! I almost bought from Royal Maui before, instead I went to CJ Charles on Prospect in La Jolla. Good people.

What i do like about the new one is the larger wings and slightly more red on the dials. I just don't feel those batons!

You´ll get used to them... ;)

Check out my "All blue" thread in the Gallery section if you want to see the new blue dial for real!

The later 2007 models have the larger applied wings too. (Both mine do, but I guess Breitling just haven't updated the "fitting" site or the Chronologs).

I really want to like the new model, but while I certainly don't hate it, it just doesn't do it for me somehow. Not really sure why.... :huh

In2Deep: Nice comparison pics!

I like that the subdials are now the same color as the dial. I also like the larger wings. However, my liking of arabic numerals is dominant...

They have an old one with white dial on black leather at my AD here in L.A. I personally like the new one better though, for all the reasons mentioned already.
