Well, my black calf is showing some wear, so I tried the fine point Sharpie on it. I may have to go over it again; the results don't satisfy my pickiness. Maybe I'll try the shoe edge dressing. It's good enough for me to see that, as I suspected, I definitely prefer black stitching; the strap looks wider now, too, which I like. It's a shame that Breitling gives us choices in case and dial, but not in strap stitching.
Right now I'm leaning toward looking for aftermarket straps that come with matching stitching, for the Breitling deployant. There don't seem to be many choices, but at least there are some.
