Hello,

I just joined the site after being a member of TimeZone. I'm looking to buy my first Breitling so pardon me being a newbie. I am a member of a few golf forums so if this post is in the wrong place I apologize in advance!

It has BREITLING and the BREITLING logo in the correct spot with:

1884
CHRONOGRAPHE
CERTIFIE CHRONOMETRE
AUTOMATIC

I have an oppurtunity to buy a Breitling from a friend of a friend and I have 1 concern, the serial number. It's A68062, no 1111. I know you guys probably get tired of this, but again pardon my lack of experience. I look foward to learning more about Breitling a adding a few to my collection.

I plan on going to my local AD and buy a new Breitling, but the price is right on this one.

Thanks,

Jeff

Definite fake.

Quartz movement and that serial number is common on a lot of low end fakes.

Thanks guys! I aready gave the watch back to my friend! That is an unbelievable fake. I loved that watch, but that's even more incentive to buy from a local AD.

Thanks again for the help and I look foward to posting a REAL watch soon!

Jeff
