My thought was the match with the grey subregister surrounds when I suggested it. I think the strap itself looks gorgeous but it is a big departure from the normal black and brown. Might be more of a weekender look than a work look, you might want to give it that long. I can already see the wheels are turning on darkening it a notch, but do you think you can control the degree of darkening with the olive oil treatment?

I'll let you know in 24 hours.

Thats a grogeous strap, not sure if it works on there.

It looks very nice, but for me I'm not convinced it works on the CM44. It looks too light to me, and if it's even lighter in person than in the pics, then it probably wouldn't be for me.

Nice looking strap though.

It is a very nice looking strap, but the lightness was the issue I had the moment I put it on the watch. Since I don't have a watch it would otherwise go with, I gave it an Olive Oil massage last night and it is resting quietly now  , much darker. We'll see how it looks when fully cured - right now it is a dark to medium charcoal gray, but will lighten just a tad if past experience means anything. For now the Chronomatic is looking good on a brown croco.

I think it looked pretty darn good as it was, can't wait to see it after the EVOO trip to the spa.

I think it looks pretty darn good and gives it a different look than the normal brown or black.

That straps looks like it's top grade quality, I'm really impressed with it. I like the darker shade, now it works with the watch. Nice job.

That strap would go well on this one too.

Looks like a shade between the subregisters and surrounds--very nice. I keep looking at the stitching and the shape and contour of that band--beautifully crafted.

Just to be clear, it's not Breitling quality, but not much is. The tail is thinner which I like better actually. The padding is softer, but that helps it to fit. It is extremely comfortable. And at about 40% of the cost of a Breitling croco.

Tom, what color should I get for the Mark VI from Stone Creek? I'm very impressed with how that looks for an aftermarket croc strap. Navy blue? Burgundy? Grey?
