I have been paying a lot of attention to JLC lately. Big fan of their Reverso line. Anyway, this is one of the most well done vintage/tribute pieces of any watchmaker I have ever seen. For the reasons alone, that they make an effort to keep their tribute models as close as possible to the original. Size, bezel, plexiglass and all! Any company who mainains the originality of a tribute model like this JLC, gets high regard in my books. I also love how they kept the colour of the luminova as close as possible to the original. That, almost more than anything, helps to preserve the original look. When you change out things, like making a plexiglass into a sapphire crystal, a stationery bezel into a moving one, and an original size into a large size, just because of a trend to larger watches, then IMHO it is no longer a tribute watch, and such as it is does not deserve to be called one. They get so far away from the original design, that some are scarcely recognizable as the original model. Kudos to JLC on this model especially. Like I said, I love their Reverso line as well. They have had some wonderful Tribute models in that lineup as well, and another this year, in their Grande Reverso Ultra Thin models, well worth taking a look at. Cheers, Carl
