The serial number on the watch, the number in the top right hand corner of the COSC certificate and the montre no. (watch number in French) should match, the punched number will be different.

the number in the white label box thats says "Montre no" is not the same as my serial number of the watch, should it be same?

Just to be clear, the serial number of the watch should match the "montre no" on the certificate. However, the reference number will not appear on the certificate. The reference number on the caseback is in a rectangular box, and is engraved in the same way the rest of the caseback is. The serial number is below the box, is in a smaller font, and is etched in a way that is less pronounced than the engraving of the reference number.

Yes, the serial number of your watch should match the "Montre no" on the certificate. If they do not, then you do not have the correct certificate. However, as I said above, be sure you're looking at the actual serial number on your watch, and are not confusing it with the reference number.

yes compared it to the serial number that is not engraved in the rectangle box on the caseback, the same number is hand written on the warranty card by the dealer itself,
its not mentioned in the cosc certi, guess i got some other watch certi with me will call him tom, if its misplaced can he call for another one from breitling?
should i make this big thing like ask him for a refund if he doesn't get me the cosc certi? Does every dealer provide the cosc certi with the breitlings?

Thanks..

The COSC should be with the watch, and Breitling can replace it.

Are you saying that there is no serial number in the top right corner, or that it is a different serial number??

The former is weird, the latter means that the COSC is for a different watch.

To answer your second question first, yes, all ADs should be able to provide the COSC certificate. As for your first question, it shouldn't come to that, hopefully. Odds are he simply sent you the wrong certificate, and still has the correct one at the dealership. If he's lost it entirely, he should still be able to order a replacement certificate. If he can't or won't, then you can still try to order the certificate yourself from Breitling.

You can't order it from Breitling, only ADs can.

Bummer he lost it, and I hope you get it soon. The wait shouldn't be too painful, though, since you still have the watch to enjoy.
