No question about it: Steelfish all the way. Any color would do. I prefer it on OR but a croco strap will give it that extra classier look.

Thanks everyone for the input so far. This is kind of a tough one. I dont see me selling the SW ever and have wondered about that when looking at the Steelfish so that is a good point. I think what Im going to do is go down to my AD today and try both on.

I do know on thing that Im blessed to have this problem.

oh wait, that's not one of the choices.

Went to the AD last night to give it a test run. I was really hoping they had a Steelfish left but didnt. Tried on the Abyss and have to admit I kind of like it. Had my Seawolf on when I went and the Abyss is a lot lighter then the seawolf but still has good wrist presence. By the way I got to try on the Chronomat B01 and the Transocean B01 all I have to say is WOW! When it comes time to decide on those it is going to be really tough!!

You thinking black if you go Abyss? I like both the yellow and red...just a nice hint of color.

They had the yellow there and tried it on but didnt appeal to me. I like the all black look but I still like the red and the blue looks really great too.

Agree that blue is pretty unique. I like it a lot.

Well after much thought. I decided to go with the Steelfish. Although I love the Abyss a lot I thought the Steelfish would be more along my tastes right now. I am fooling with the idea of selling off a few more watches and getting the abyss. I must really be Breitling crazy like I thought. The watch isnt here as I cant fins anyone that has it so I have to have it shipped. As soon as it gets here I will put up some pics.

Shipped as to you AD or as you are buying used? I did not think there were many new ones to be had beyond what is on the AD shelves.

At any rate congrats! I love my fish, it is my only Breitling. Don't think I will ever get rid of it.

Yep... I had to get it used. I looked everywhere as I specifically wanted the cream dial and no one had it. I guess it works out for me in the end. I can put that extra money towards my Chronomat B01 I want.
