Hi Guys,

Just a quick question, ive had my colt (A17380) for a month and am loving it, hardly ever take it off. I have been having a quick look at different strap option no that i dont like whats on it at the moment but i would like something with deployment clasp when i have enough money for it (Privet Pilot licences can ruin you bank balance) and was wondering if there was a reason why you cant get a Blue leather strap or a Pro II braclet for it that isnt polished or am i just not looking in the right places?

Thanks

Blue leather (113X) seems easy enough to find. As to brushed stainless, I don't think Breitling likes to make brushed bracelets for polished watches.

Congratulations on getting your private certificate. Where are you based, and what do you fly?

Sorry, must have zipped past that fact that you wanted a deployant. I see one at authenticwatches, but not a model number.

Breitling straps are identical designs regardless of deployant / tang - just the holes / attachments that are different. You can fit any strap with the right lug width, and of course you can go aftermarket - take a look at the watch accessory section for some threads on different makers.

Breitling bracelets are custom fit to the watch so no brushed option, but you could always brush a polished one.

So don't tell them!

Seriously, you aren't going to have servicing issues on the watch just because the bracelet is brushed any more than you would if it was on an aftermarket strap. If you are that concerned about Breitling polishing it again just swap it for a cheap strap before sending it in.
