sounds like me 3 months ago. I bought a sub c in October and it really is a great watch. availability seems to vary from shop to shop - I found one in the uk at an AD with 6% off retail. before xmas another AD in birmingham uk had sub c, sub c green, dssd, both colours of the new exploer 2 42mm all in the window. the biggest retailer had nothing in stock at all - go figure. try TRF trusted sellers as they always eem to have brand new sub c's for a little discount and BNIB with all stickers in place.

There's loads of mint safe queens out there, just don't be shocked when you take off your Pam and slide on the Rolex, they look like a toy compared.

when i bought my 16610 i was wearing my Pam 24   i looked twice at the size. and i am on a 7.5 wrist, the 42mm Rolex would look just right.

I know what you mean. But I did have a GMTIIc, and at times it seemed small, and other times it looked just fine. Losing weight helps the smaller watches seem more proportionate. :D But I am just not in love with anything over 45mm, although the Chronomat GMT is tempting..... It has almost all of my favorite features; chronograph, GMT, and in-house movement. Lord give me strength....... If it were 45mm with a saphire caseback...game over.
