I came across this the other day and just thought I'd post it up here, for no other reason than I think it's awesome!

http://www.utswatches.com/4000m-dive-watch

It's not out yet (and there's no price, unfortunately), but I love it. UTS make some superbly finished pieces, so I'm sure this one will be no different. The price might be "interesting" though, as no doubt the 4000m WR will come at a considerable cost, although (hopefully) the fact it's 2824 powered might (again, hopefully) keep the price down a little. Amazing to get 4000m WR (and that's apparently VERY conservative) in something that is still significantly smaller than an SA.

WOW! 4000m that is incredible and sounds like one helluva workhorse of watch. I bet that thing is pretty hefty too and would take one heck of a beating. Although I rather doubt anyone will actually be testing it to those depths, that is quite a feat of engineering. Interesting locking mechanism for the omni directional bezel too. I like the looks of it, with only 200 copies being made I'm sure it will be a pretty penny. Thanks for sharing Driver, cool piece.

I like a lot of UTS models and this one is quite cool. What takes this one and most UTS watches out of my realm of speculation is the bulky screw attached lugs. Makes them too long for "smaller" wrists.

This new one is a BEAST and I really like the dial.

Agree, this 4000M is a CHUNK Of steel. However, the specs. on the 1000M V2 show that it has 51mm lug length, doesn't sound that bad at 42mm case/43mm bezel (?). May have to check into it.
I like the simple, bold dial :) .

Hmmmm, had a reply from UTS - this 4000m watch is priced at 4500 Euro. :? And if you want a bracelet, that'll be a further 300 Euro on top.

That's A LOT for an ETA powered piece from a small-ish brand. Hell, for a few hundred more you can pick up a used but mint Rolex Deepsea, which is far more wearable than this UTS is likely to be, and benefits from the Rolex in-house movement. The UTS isn't worth more than 3000 Euro tops IMHO.

Nice watch but no sale for me......

Never was into watches where the rehault (is that the right word) is too large.
