Hi All !!!

I have wanted a Panerai 183 for well over a year & every time I am about to pull the trigger some mitigating circumstance presents itself & prevents me from doing so.

Presently, I have the ability to pull the trigger on a brand new Panerai 183 Black Seal - it would be my 1st brand new watch in a very, very long time (more than 10 years lol) - no trade just straight up. Problem is I can get a Pre-loved IWC Big Pilot, minus my Mark XVI & approximately $2000.00 more than the Pam 183.

(My wrist size is between 7 - 7 1/4)

They both scream at me just the Panerai screams louder but I also realize that if I am ever going to afford a BP most likely is now or never ! lol

And yes I realize they are two different animals.

What would you buy?

Both are too big for me and God knows I tried to make a Luminor and Radomir work.

The BP does nothing for me. The 183 with it's polished case and beautiful, simple sandwich dial would be my choice.

If the Panerai has been calling your name for over a year I would go for it and hold on the IWC. Of course no matter which one you decide on, you will invariably want the other as well... :lol: such is the nature of this WIS disease.

I guess i'm going agains the grain here because the whole Radiomir line does not appeal to me. My choice would be Big Pilot by a mile!
