They are both Breitling commissioned pieces from Pilots Station in France that were presented to ADs. They may have been used elsewhere as well, but Breitling exclusive.

I was promised an entire new plane months ago.....nada!

I think I need to send off an email to the swag department. Haven't recieved anything for the Navi 01 LE. Surely the Olive Oil din't count for the Chronomatic and the Navi.

Tnx, everybody!

@ Sharkman; tnx for the offer but I think I'll keep this one in one piece ;-)

All I'm looking for now is a Breitling Wagaman wall clock, any ideas?

Regards,

David

I had the pleasure of seeing a Super Connie in flight at Oshkosh several years ago -- very nice.

Don't know which is nicer: the sound or the sight

I enjoyed most watching the grace with which it made the turns in the pattern.

When it comes to sounds, I'm a sucker for the Merlin in the P-51.

I certainly won't disagree with that.

Probably showing my age here but flew on Connie's twice as a kid across the Atlantic. 1st one was a Flying Tigers and this TWA from which I got a nice certificate. Boy those were the days when flying was a real treat.

That is really neat, and it's almost as old as I am. Thanks for sharing it.

Yeah, that is neat. Do you know what you were getting if all 10 flights were completed?

Having said that, I may not have a Connie certificate but I do have the safety card from TWA's Connie but of later date (October 1965). But not from the Flying Tigers. :(
