I agree with ewen, I had planned for a Daytona for a long time and then tried it on. The size of it and the size of my SO I wore at the moment changed my mind.

Apart from that, I like my '69 (I think it is) Oyster Precision. But, that one will be going away as soon as I find a buyer.

A non-date Seadweller or perhaps a non-date Submariner for me, thanks. (although I'd consider a date model Seadweller, sans cyclops).

I like the SS Daytona Cosmograph a lot too, although I'd rather earn one -- I've got two friends that got theirs by winning the 24! 8)

I own 2 Sea Dwellers. It is by far my favorite Rolex watch. I dont care much for the cyclops bubble and the fact that there is no date function on the daytona always kept me from putting myself on a waiting list. I like the newer style of Rolexes with what they call oversized cases (42/43mm) but they did not increase the width of the bracelets, and it gives the over all aesthetics a kind of out of place feel, and to me the result is a cheap looking watch. The new Sea Dweller Deep Sea is nice, with the upgraded bezel, lume, and clasp, but the bracelet doesnt match the case, and the dial is very busy. The more I look at it, the less I want one.

Sea Dweller, classic design, no cyclops, built like a tank, great wrist presence, can be worn with a suit or jeans.

i dont think id ever spend money on a rolex, but if i ever have money to burn itd probably be a day/date. although in all honesty if i had money to burn i might still skip rolex altogether.

Just not interested in them at all?

definitely not at the moment. they may eventually make one that i love, but i havent seen one so far. my next non breitling watch within financial reason would be a zenith open chronomaster.

if i literally had money to burn id get a patek philippe calatrava on a bracelet.

i should note that i would not be adverse to wearing a rolex. if one was given to me id happily wear it. but assuming im spending my own money, i would just rather have something else.

I like the GMT Master IIc.

Not sure whether I'd buy one though, there are other things I'd probably rather buy if I was spending that sort of money (IWC for example).

I've got my eye on the Sea-Dweller Deep Sea version that's coming out. At 44 mm I think I can live with it. Plus I love the glidelock clasp. 8)

Rolex came out of their 40 mm shell with the 43 mm Sea Dweller.

The Yachtmaster is also bigger than the standard 40mm, but it's pricey!

Considering the white gold daytona with meteorite dial. growing tired of waiting for the stainless steel and I have problem paying probably twice as much as the watch retails for because of its high demand.
