I can't help but notice that my Super Avenger, and other Breitlings don't have "Swiss Made" at the bottom of the face. Rolex certainly puts "Swiss Made" at the bottom of their face/dial.

Is Breitling not Swiss? Then why doesn't Breitling put "Swiss Made" on their watch face?

Yes Breitling is most definitely Swiss! I don't think there's any particular reason for them not putting Swiss Made on the dial - maybe they think their dials tend to be busy enough! :D There's no law that says they have to put it on.

Manufacturers can put whatever they want (within reason) on their dials. For example, Rolex use the term "Superlative Chronometer" on their dials whereas other "make do" with just Chronometer - it's all just marketing.

I guess it's just a design thing - some pieces have it, some don't - same as some have wings raised, some don't, some just have the B.

It's the same with the Chronometre - some have Officiellement Certifie, while others just have Chronometre.

If it is stamped on the back of my Super Avenger, I don't see it.

I stand corrected. I never looked close to the back of a SA. (or other models I dont have...yet) I was going off of my Evolution and 2 Steelfish.

They say "Manufacture en suisse" on thier backs and on the inner part of the clasps.

Bronco is correct. I just polished my Navi-World and remember seeing the phrase last night.

But it's not consistent - many models have it on the caseback, some (including the SA) do not.
