New to the forum and new to Breitling ownership thanks to my xmas present this year from my dear wife. I received a new Montbrillant Legende. It appeared complete except for the cardboard(?) white wheel (e6b) that I've seen with other Navitimer documentation I have looked at in the stores. I think it's actually just an additional document on how to use the slide rule portion of the watch? I searched around the net at some other Montbrillants that were posted for sale as "complete" and none included this wheel or document. Or at least none showed it in any pictures. Is this not included with the Montbrillant's? I don't want to make a trip back to the jewelry store if it doesn't come with it.

I've seen it included with that model in some ebay auctions, so apparently it came with the watch in the past. Why not call the store to see if they've discontinued including it?

I did call the store and the salesman that answered explained that each watch is received with it's corresponding documentation that is seperated and labeled based on serial number. He said if I didn't receive that then it wasn't shipped with it and referred me to Breitling in CT. They are closed for the rest of the year.

Didn't he check other packages for the same model watch?

They didn't have another legende limited to check. He checked a datora and a basic navitimer. The navitimer did have the slide rule instructions. The other didn't. Guess I'll have to wait till next year and confirm.

Thanks! The shop is looking into it. It seems it's possible that someone took it from the packet for another watch(?) Long story short they are waiting for Breitling to reopen from the holiday's. The good news is I haven't paid for it yet and can file a dispute with the bank. I'm guessing they will come back with an offer to reduce the price (credit back on the charge card) and I'll have decide how much it's worth.
