I have watched this for a while on ebay. Don't know much about it except I kind of like it and seems like a fair price...but like I said I don't know much about it. I think when I first saw it the price was in the $1700 range relisted a few weeks in a row, now just under $1,400. So what is this thing really worth if it is not selling as is?

Most likely came out from the new old stock from Old World Jewelers they had awhile back. They used to have them for $1295. Looks original to me. If it's under 1400 then it's a fair deal.

I bought the last one Old World Jewelers had last year for $1295. You should probably buy this one before I'm tempted to pick it up. :poke:

Not to derail the post but I have never seen a Breitling even remotely like this especially with a manual wind and an acrylic crystal. What decade is this from?

Hey now back off you all (kidding) I thought it was a decent price the last few weeks, but since none here were bragging about buying it, I figured I was a rube. Now that I have tipped you all off I suspect it will be gone before I can count up all the change in my coffee can at home. Those of you that have one how do you like them? Seller says it works, how quickly would it need service if I were to move forward? Not sure if I am a vintage guy, but I do like it for some reason.

I had the other bezel available on mine so it is slightly different. I like the period correct rubber straps on these. I probably won't let the ebay one cycle through again without picking it up so someone save me some money.

 I've been watching that for a while. This guy has been trying to sell this one for over a year and hasn't lowered the price one cent.
Makes the first one look like even a better deal.

I too have been watching that for over a year. Everytime I get a new email from ebay for a 7104.3 I know it will be the way overpriced guy from Israel. I was shocked when the other came through for the 1700 now 1300 dollar one. I really dig the old, vintage look, just not sure I don't want something more of a daily wearer. If you buy it, give me first right of refusal when it comes time to sell it.

Sup vintage? I was expecting a post from you about your new love. I was still itching yesterday, but could not pull the trigger. Still not sure I want to go down the vintage route, even though I really like that piece. I log on today and see:

Code:
Ended:Jan 04, 201210:14:48 PST

Bid history:0 bids

I figured you would make my decision for me. Will be interesting to see if they drop the price.

Tried to negotiate a few dollars off but the guy wasn't responsive. "I've got 40 watchers!" Exactly, watchers. Bought this instead for less money.
