I like your collection Weirdfish,

It reminded me a little of mine - not huge and mega expensive like some on here. I may put a similar pic of my collection on here sometime soon. I have a predecessor to the Seiko Kinetic (which was an engagement present from my now wife), A TAG and of course my beloved Airwolf :D .

My tissot was a present, the breitling was something I always wanted, so when funds allowed and the right one came along I treated myself, and the monster,(seiko), just caught my eye, and as you say, compared to the likes of the breitling, the seiko is quite affordable.

I know what you mean weirdfish, some watches don't need to be massively expensive to be valuable - of course I am talking about sentimentality here. Some years ago, Mrs KMG and I were in Washington DC. On departing, we saw some Swiss Army watches (matching pair) and we could just afford them - we both liked the design and so we bought them. Years later, I was going to get rid of mine (the TAG came along) and my missus wouldn't have any of it. As far as I know, she still has both of those watches in a box somewhere - she still loves them (even though we both have B'lings now).

Thought I might just update this a little, gained the omega, and a Daily G-shock.
And the little gold thingy at the top, that's my bit of bling.

Whoops! Sorry about pic being the wrong way, that'll teach me to pay more attention.
And I've just noticed the G-shock is upside down as well, DOH!

Looks good-- a leader, a"beater' and a couple to fill out the color range--that's a unique Omega. I have come close so many times to getting an orange monster. Maybe someday.

You can also count me in for watches on a budget. Currently have 2 lings, a Helson, Hamilton, and G-shock. I don't care to have much more than 10k into them, and in the future if I want to switch 4 of my 5 could be used as trading material. My Bentley is the one that would stay.
