I have considered a CFA and the ABV as my next certification, and will see where the road takes me in the coming year.

CFA is pure torture. I joined the 3 for 3 club, took it December 2009, June 2010, and June 2011 - absolutely horrific exam.

That's a pretty fancy DJ there Justin. Are you sure you are up to it? You're not waiting for a Cubs' pennant to celebrate are you? :poke: (sorry)

It's going to take Theo and Co. a couple years to turn the team around. The others I've considered were possibly a Chronomat B01 LE or a Transocean Chrono.

Some @$$hole that has too many watches that I want. Though if Breitling get's their heads out of their asses and designs a real diver with an in-house 3 hand movement I might change my mind. But what are the chances of something like that happening?

id bet its this year.

As for me, my plans change by the minute.

That's me too, but it depends on what deals come along. My list of desires is fairly long and really in no degree of priority as it totally depends on too many factors, not too mention my list is always in a constant state of flux. What I would like to add vs. what I can realistically add is two different things, but I would like to acquire at least one or two of the following in 2012:

Jeez you really must have EVERY other watch you want to be considering those! :poke:

For once with your watch choices Mr Roff, I am definitely in the "don't understand" camp on this one!

Montexn, I really like the SS Blancpain. I was looking at one the other day (just looking mind you) and it has removable lugs for strap changing. That was a featue I had never noticed on a watch with traditional lugs.

I doubt I'm the only one thinking this, but I'm waiting for a BB with an 01 variant that includes a big date complication, ideally an LE with a display back on a faceted bracelet. If they make one (maybe @ Basel) I will be on the list for one.

I'd like a replacement for my Colt II Auto that would serve as a daily that has a more modern bezel font as well.

Other than that, I'd love a GO PanoInverse XL, stainless in grey but probably not.

I like your planning!
I am thinking about a Navi, white with brown croc or the bracelet.
Or maybe a JLC Master or Master control.
or?

The Deville is absolutely beautiful, I'm not really an Omega fan but that watch has always caught my eye.

On my plans, after the wife convinced me to keep my Oris RAID and purchase the Skyracer as an addition instead of a replacement, my 2012 budget is over before it's started unless I sell something.

A PAM 250 on a bracelet is about the only piece at the moment that I'd do some selling to make room for.

Mines pretty simple. I'd like an Automatic Seamaster Pro, black dial. I would've really liked a PO but the way prices are going at the moment I'd struggle to justify it. I really like the wavy dials on the Pro's anyway. I guess I'll see what my 25th brings in March.

Other than that I'll be scanning for a pre-owned Aerospace (or maybe Airwolf) as I quite like them, although it's not a priority so a nice one will have to come up at a good price when I've got the cash in my pocket.

Well I know some of you guys drop big $$$ on your time pieces, so here is my more modest ££ list for 2012, though like everyone else something unplanned may catch my eye along the way!

Hamilton X-Wind - Just love the style of this piece
Image

Longines Column Chronograph - I like the crisp clean lines of this
Image

Omega Broad Arrow GMT - Cool chronograph
Image

Bremont P51 - A superb piece, and at the moment my grail watch. If I buy it, it would swallow my 2012 budget and more!
Image

Not sure if I want another Breitling at the moment, except maybe a Navi World
