Seeking advice on Breitling watch I plan to sell. Should I spend an estimated $600 to $700 to have it 'serviced' to increase the sale price or sell it 'as is'?
I think the exact model is - TOP TIME 810 CHRONOGRAPH VENUS 178
Would help the experience of discussion board members.
I have taken the watch to two jewelers who have given me estimates (once serviced) from $1750 to $4500.
Watch works and I have replaced the crystal, but something is loose and you can hear it when you shake the watch.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Have you looked what these go for in working condition on Ebay ?
my estimate is that is you sell 'as is' you will fetch between USD$ 600-1000 and a 100% working watch may fetch between USD $1000 - $1750, but please research these watches on Ebay yourself

:yeahthat
though if you plan to have the watch serviced, contacting member chronodeco will get you a fair quote for this at outstanding quality.
